Artist Bio
aRTyTea [ahr-tee-tee] is the pseudonym of Belgian music producer and photographer Rudi T. Theunis. Born in Hasselt, Belgium, he creates electronic music shaped by the synthesizer-driven sounds of the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s.
Blending nostalgic influences from synthpop, new wave, disco, Eurodance, New Beat and classic house with modern electronic production, aRTyTea crafts a sound that moves between retro warmth and contemporary club energy. His music often carries a cinematic quality — suited for late-night drives, intimate dance floors, reflective moments and neon-lit memories.
Beyond music, Rudi is also active as a fine-art photographer, creating evocative art-nude and conceptual work. That visual sensibility often carries into his music: atmospheric, emotional, nostalgic and carefully composed.
Through aRTyTea Music, he brings together electronic releases, studio stories, collaborations and side projects, including work under the name EBM City.
